WTEN News 10 ABC again reported on the abrupt cancellation of tenant leases — including those of Hudson Valley Community College students — at College Suites, a privately-owned apartment building located nearby campus on Morrison Avenue. Rensselaer County Executive Steven McLaughlin has heard from concerned parents, according to this report from July 31, 2020.
On Aug. 2, WTEN TV 10 news anchor John Gray wrote about the issue in his weekly column that appears in The Troy Record and The Saratogian. Gray is a 1983 alumnus of Hudson Valley Community College.
